Taipei Coffee House is a restaurant with an ocean view located in Cacupé, in the north of Florianópolis Island. More than just a gastronomic space, Taipei was born from the meeting of two cultures: Taiwanese tradition and Brazilian hospitality.
Founded by Daiane Shuai, who was born in Taipei, Taiwan, the restaurant embodies the oriental attention to detail and the desire to transform each meal into an experience.
From Taiwanese Culture to Cacupé
Raised amidst family rituals and traditional Taiwanese markets, Daiane learned early on that serving food is an act of affection. In Eastern culture, hospitality is not a performance—it's a presence.
Years later, living in Florianópolis, she found in Cacupé the perfect setting to unite her Asian roots with the unique landscape of the North Bay. Thus was born Taipei Coffee House: a restaurant in Florianópolis that integrates tradition, aesthetics, and seaside experience.
